Where to Search for Books on Explosions in Fortnite

Hey these used to be Doomsday Preppers Guides in Week 4!

We are now in Week 12 of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, which means we are facing a new set of legendary challenges. One of the Legendary Challenges this week is to search for books on explosions. In the guide below, we explain where you can do this.

The map below shows you an overhead view of Steamy Stacks and the positions of the books there. This is a popular drop points at the beginning of any match, so it might be best to go to one after the first storm circle if you want to avoid combat. However, Steamy Stacks is the best location to complete this quest due to how close the books are to each other.

As you can see in the image above, there are two books on explosions in Steamy Stacks. You need to interact with two books to complete the quest. If you're having trouble finding the books with the map above, read the instructions below for further detail.

  • The first book is inside the large building on the western side of the complex. It is inside, on the floor near the window/door on the far southern side.
  • The second book is in the small building near the power generators on the southern side of the complex. It is beneath the stairs on the eastern half of the building.

Once you have interacted with the two books listed above, the quest is marked as complete! You're now ready to move on to the next quest.
