Forza Horizon 5 may present you with pretty cars that are usually nice and fast, but one of the real joys is making it your own. Customizing cars within the game makes your ride feel like it is really your car, whether it just be simply changing the color or putting a different livery on it entirely.
To customize your car you will want to:
- Go to either a Festival Outpost or one of your Houses
- Enter so you are taken to the menu
- Go to the Garage Tab
- Click on either Designs & Paints or Upgrades & Tuning

Designs & Paints
This will allow you to change your car's aesthetic and cosmetic nature or vehicle. From changing colors to designing a decal to put on it, you can do it from within this menu mechanic. Forza has some pre-chosen color schemes for quick customization options, which are usually really nice!
Upgrades & Tuning
In this section, you will be able to upgrade your car parts, such as engine, brakes, and suspension, to perform in higher ranking races. If you are unsure what to do in this area, worry not, as Forza includes an Auto Upgrade mode for people who like the driving aspect but not the fixing part!
