How to make Deductions in Gamedec

Whodunit?!

Gamedec places you in the role of detective. Not just in the real world, but also in the virtual world as well. With two worlds to investigate that means there are twice the NPCs and twice the clues. These two things will give you intel that allows you to make deductions.

Deduction is the primary detective skill you will use to solve cases. This isn’t just a simple checklist to get as some clues could lead you down the wrong path. You will have to use the information provided to you and your intuition to come to the correct conclusion.

In your deduction menu, there are yellow nodes for cases. Clicking on these nodes will bring in a zoomed-in menu that shows possible deductions you can make. Selecting one of these deductions will put you down a specific path and open up new options for you. Be careful though, if you make the wrong deduction you may be locked out of making other choices.

In the zoomed-in deduction node, all the clues available to you will be present. This means you can see how much information you have as well as if there is more information. Taking your time and gathering as many clues and evidence is crucial. After all, the more information you have the more likely it is you will solve your case.
