Genshin Impact : Fossilized Bone Shard

To obtain a Fossilized Bone Shard, you need to find and kill Geovishaps at any level. Upon eliminating these ancient dragon foes, they have a chance to drop Fragile Bone Shard.

To get Geovishaps to become Lvl 60+, you need your World Level to become World Level 5 or higher. The most efficient WL to farm is WL 6, as enemies are between Level 64 and 84. This will give you the most consistent enemy Lvl past 60+. Anything below you will find them, but not as often.

To get to WL 6, you need to have completed the following.

  • Be on World Level 5
  • Be Adventure Rank 45
  • Clear Ascension Quest 3

You can get these from two of the Geovishap family. You won't get them from Geovishap bosses—Primo Geovishap and Azhdaha.

The fastest way to get around is to use the Waypoints, travel around Liyue, kill everything in sight, and move on. The image below is where you can find Geovishaps in Liyue.

A fossilized bone fragment sometimes found after defeating Geovishap Hatchlings. Geovishap Hatchlings all dream of growing into great dragons one day. They see these fossils as dragon bones and greatly cherish them, perhaps because they too hope to attain the dragons' longevity and power.
