To obtain Guide to Resistance, you need to complete the Forsaken Rift, a Domain of Mastery located in Mondstadt. The Forsaken Rift is located between Springvale and Dragonspine.

Teleport to Windwail Highland, the Teleport Waypoint below Springvale, and the Forsaken Rift is to the southwest, hidden inside a cave.

To enter Forsaken Rift II, you need to be Adventure Rank 28. It is recommended to have your party about Level 54 and characters that uses Electro and Pyro.

The Forsaken Rift rotates the rewards you get based on what day of the week it is.

On Tuesdays and Fridays, the domain is called Frozen Abyss, and you can get the Resistance Talent Level-up Materials.

On Sunday, you can choose whatever domain you desire.

Guide to Resistance is rewarded for completing Domain of Mastery: Frozen Abyss II, and you can receive between one to two of them per run. You will also receive between one and three Teachings of Resistance.

To complete Frozen Abyss II, you must kill all 20 enemies within 360 seconds.

The 20 enemies are:
- Hilichurl Fighter x8
- Cryo Slimes x8
- Large Cryo Slime x2
- Cryo Abyss Mage x1

If you're at Adventure rank 36, you can attempt Frozen Abyss III, and you'll receive between one and three Guide to Resistance per run.

To complete Frozen Abyss III, you must defeat eight opponents within 360 seconds.

The eight enemies are split into two waves:
- First Wave
  - Cryo Slimes x3
  - Large Cryo Slime x2
- Second Wave
  - Large Cryo Slime x2
  - Cryo Abyss Mage x1

Due to the Cryo enemies, it is wise to bring along characters that inflict Electro and Pyro damage.

When inside a Domain of Mastery, you are inflicted by a Ley Line Disorder. This is a debuff that is never removed throughout the duration of the Rift.

In Frozen Abyss II, you have the following Ley Line Disorder:

Your character will be periodically inflicted with Condensed Ice, greatly increasing your Stamina Consumption until the inflicted Cryo element is removed.

In Frozen Abyss III, you have the following Ley Line Disorder:

Your character will be periodically inflicted with Condensed Ice, greatly increasing your Stamina Consumption until the inflicted Cryo element is removed. Icicles will periodically fall from above, dealing Cryo Damage.

If you have completed the domain successfully, to claim the rewards, you need to spend 20 Original Resin to or use a Condensed Resin to receive double. You do not have to claim the rewards if you choose not to do so.

Resistance is the backbone of the city of Wind. The history of Mondstadt is one of resistance. People rose up to grant the citizens of Mondstadt the freedom they now enjoy, like the Anemo Archon blowing away the snow, or like Vennessa rising up to fight.
