Go on a rollercoaster ride across the Veluriyam Mirage.

The Genshin Impact Secret Summer Paradise event runs from July 52023, to August 16, 2023, bringing with it a limited-time area called the Veluriyam Mirage. The paradise inside a bottle features an amazing vehicle called the Choo-Choo Cart, a rollercoaster that runs along specific tracks that can take you to destinations within the Mirage.

How to use the Choo-Choo Cart in Genshin Impact

The Choo-Choo Cart is a rollercoaster that operates across designated routes within the Veluriyam Mirage, mainly around the Overgrown Valley. You'll find a few stations marked by campsite-looking images in the World Map (circled above), which usually include objects that you can interact with to configure the Choo-Choo Cart's destination. Meanwhile, all the small flowers on the map refer to the locations of Cart Platforms.

  2. Track Blossom - allows you to change the track you're taking, likewise changing your destination. We'll tell you more about this below.
  3. Cart Platform - a tool that allows you to summon the Choo-Choo Cart if you've lost it, as well as change the direction the Choo-Choo Cart is facing.

Changing Tracks

Interacting with a Track Blossom will change the Choo-Choo Cart's track. Each color represents a different destination. In the example above, switching to the Amber Flower will change the track's destination to the Torrential Twister southeast of the Veluriyam Mirage.

You can determine the current route by checking the color of the glowing flower underneath the actual track. In the second image above, the route has been switched to the Amber Flower (Torrential Twister), so you can see the Amber-colored Flower glowing under the track.

Choo-Choo Cart Challenges

While riding the Choo-Choo Cart, you might suddenly be prompted to start a Choo-Choo Cart Challenge, which involves two objectives:

  • Destroy Bloatty Floatties
  • Reach the destination

Upon starting a Challenge, the Choo-Choo Cart will move along a designated path on its own. Along the way, you'll encounter orange and brown balls. Your goal is to ignore the brown balls and attack the orange balls using the Choo-Choo Cart's skills, which can be triggered using the E button (right side) and Q button (left side). These can be spammed and clicked at the same time—no cooldown involved.

At certain points in the Challenge, you can swap tracks by clicking on the Normal Attack button whenever a switch lane pop-up appears on the screen. It will only appear for a few seconds, so pay attention and click fast to avoid running into obstacles.

Blue bubbles called Trackslayer Stones will also occasionally appear in the route. Collect them using the Choo-Choo Cart's skill to unlock hidden tracks, which will offer additional rewards. After successfully completing a Choo-Choo Cart Challenge, don't forget to claim your Chest reward.
