Genshin Impact is a game with no end, which means that you must continuously collect resources and clear content to enhance your gameplay, build characters, and clear higher-level content. A great starting point is to power through daily tasks whenever possible, as these provide rewards that expire once the day ends.
Check out our recommended daily checklist to maximize your resource farming and ensure that you don't miss out on in-game progression.
Daily Commissions
Every day, you'll receive four Commission Quests that reward you with 10 Primogems and 250 Adventure EXP, among other rewards, each. They're quick tasks that usually won't take more than a minute or two to complete, so make sure to clear them for a quick dose of Primogems. Don't forget to claim extra rewards (including 20 Primogems!) from Katheryne in any region after completing all four Commissions for the day.

Use Resin
Resin is the most important resource in the game, as it allows you to clear Domains, Weekly and World Bosses, and Ley Line Outcrops—all of which merit you with coveted resources, from Artifacts to Mora, Hero's Wits, and more. You can hold a maximum of 160 Original Resin at a time—spend them however you wish.
Condensed Resin
If you don't have time to use up your Original Resin, it's recommended to convert them that they can continuously replenish. Craft Condensed Resin from a Crafting Bench, which costs 40 Original Resin and one Crystal Core to make. It's useable in Artifact Domains (grants double rewards), but not against World and Weekly Bosses.
Battle Pass Daily Missions
Complete Daily Missions to obtain BEP to level up your Battle Pass for rewards. To complete the "Mine 10 items" task quickly, claim Expedition rewards from characters sent to mine Crystal Chunks.
Expedition
Speak to Katheryne in any region and select Dispatch Character on Expedition. Claim your daily Expedition rewards, and don't forget to send them off to collect materials for another day. Don't forget to toggle between the regions on the lefthand corner for more options. You can dispatch a maximum of five characters at a time, and they can still be used in the overworld.
Daily Check-In
Genshin Impact's daily check-in rewards are not claimable in-game. You need to visit the HoYoLAB website or app, log in, and check-in from there. You can receive a variety of rewards—including Primogems—for just a couple of seconds of your time.
Optional Dailies
Daily Quests and Random Events
If you're farming for Companionship EXP, it may be worthwhile to do some Random Events or recurring quests. These will occur to you randomly as you explore, but some can be intentionally triggered. An example would be the Warden of Konda Random Event. You can do up to 10 of these per day.
Find the Unusual Hilichurl
You can find and defeat the Unusual Hilichurl twice per day around Monstadt and Liyue. Doing so doesn't merit worthwhile rewards, other than Challenger: Series II Achievements. If you already obtained them, it's recommended to skip this step.
Material Farming
Common enemies respawn after 12 hours, while Elite Enemies respawn after 24 hours. If you're aiming for specific materials to ascend your characters or weapons, keep these spawn times in mind to ensure that your farming routes are full every time you set off.
Purchase Once-A-Day Items
There are some items that come with a daily purchase limit. If you're farming for them, make sure to hit up the shops and purchase them every day. Some examples would be five Vials of Adeptal Speed from Tubby in the Serenitea Pot, two Dango Milks from the street vendor Tomoki in Inazuma, and ingredients from General Stores.
