Genshin Impact Fontaine Fishing Association 3-day Hidden Objective guide

Despite being the nation of Hydro, Fontaine's Fishing Association is run by an incompetent angler named Delaroche. When you meet her for the first time, she'll tell you about her fishing woes. And while she doesn't officially give you a World Quest, helping her out will complete a Hidden Exploration Objective that rewards you with Primogems and EXP.

This Hidden Exploration Objective is time-gated across three real-life days (or three server resets). Before starting, I recommend learning Fontaine's underwater controls as you need to go underwater every day.

Genshin Impact Fontaine Fishing Association Hidden Exploration Objective - Day 1

Start by heading to the Fontaine Fishing Association northeast of the Court of Fontaine. You can easily find it via the Fishing Association icon in the World Map. The easiest way to get there is by diving from the northeast Teleport Waypoint.

Once you're there, you'll find a fishing spot right beside Delaroche. Catch any fish to trigger dialogue with Delaroche, automatically starting the Hidden Exploration Objective. After speaking to her, dive into the glowing spot in the water directly in front of her.

Dialogue with Paimon will automatically trigger. When that's over, interact with the glowing spot to place any fish you own. If you don't have any in your inventory, you can catch one in the fishing spot at the Fontaine Fishing Association.

When you're done, return to the surface and speak to Delaroche. Select the dialogue option "Did you catch a fish? Congratulations!" to complete the first part of this Hidden Objective.

Genshin Impact Fontaine Fishing Association Hidden Exploration Objective - Day 2

Wait one real-time day or until the server reset, then return to the Fontaine Fishing Association. Speak to Delaroche and choose the dialogue option "Have you had much luck recently?" to trigger the second part of the Hidden Exploration Objective.

Like the first day, jump into the glowing spot in the water and interact with it. This time, you need to give it any bait from your inventory. When you're done, return to the surface and speak with Delaroche. Select the dialogue option "Did you land another one?" to complete this day's objective.

Wait one real-time day or until the server reset, then return to the Fontaine Fishing Association. Speak to Delaroche and choose the dialogue option "Have you tried a new bait recently?" to trigger the final part of the Hidden Exploration Objective.

Following the trend from the previous days, dive into the glowing spot underwater and interact with it to investigate. This time, two enemies will spawn.

There's a Xenochromatic Hunter Ray nearby, so I recommend absorbing its ability to make the battle a lot easier. Using the Hunter Ray's skill, get rid of the two enemies. When you're done, swim to the surface and speak to Delaroche. Choose the dialogue option "We're back!" to complete the Hidden Exploration Objective.
