Now that Genshin Impact has had a worldwide release, players will be roaming throughout the open world gathering items that can be used to cook up some tasty delights. These recipes will sometimes call for ingredients that need to be transitioned into a more useful form of itself. Well, if you're having trouble figuring out how to do this then we will guide you through the process below!

How to Process Ingredients

Processing ingredients in Genshin Impact is a pretty simple process. You will just need to gather up various stuff you find while you are heading out on the countryside. Once you have what you need, head to a stove or campfire and select the cooking option. You will first be in the menu that allows you to cook traditional dishes, we don't want this page. Look to the top of the screen for the option that looks like a pepper next to the fork and knife. Select that and you will be brought to the processing area!

This menu will allow you to turn whole items into more edible options that can be used in different dishes. Cooking is an important aspect of the game, because it's one of the few ways you can restore health to your characters. You can also get quite a few buffs from the dishes you create, so make sure to start gathering up all the ingredients you can find out in the world and cook them up! If you are in need of meat, then killing animals is an easy way to obtain some. You can find plant-based ingredients in bushes and all over the grasslands you'll be running across.
