Genshin Impact Shared Sight Figure Standing Atop the Dunes guide

The Genshin Impact Shared Sight event runs from August 3, 2023, to August 14, 2023. During the event, you'll obtain a Gadget called an Inscribed Mirror, which will show you the point-of-view of various animals in Teyvat. It can be a little hard to locate the little friends if you aren't familiar with Sumeru's landscape, so I highly recommend following the guide below to help you find them fast.

All animal locations in Figure Standing Atop the Dunes – Genshin Impact Shared Sight event

Figure Standing Atop the Dunes is the second challenge in Shared Sight, which unlocks on the second day of the event. Make sure to equip the Inscribed Mirror Gadget before starting, as you won't be able to start the challenge otherwise.

Once you're ready, head to the Shared Sight section of the event menu, then select the second challenge: Figure Standing Atop the Dunes. Click Go to Challenge to prompt a paw-shaped icon to appear in the World Map. Head to the location south of Dar al-Shifa and interact with the signboard to begin the challenge.

Desert Fox #1 location

Upon starting, use the Inscribed Mirror to see the point-of-view of the first animal. You then need to head to the exact area circled in the image above to find the first Desert Fox inside the hut. Interact with the Desert Fox to retrieve it, completing the first objective.

Sacred Ibis location

Use the Inscribed Mirror again to see the point-of-view of the second animal. Then, head to the exact location circled in the image above, southeast of the challenge area. Interact with the Sacred Ibis to retrieve it, completing the second objective.

Desert Fox #2 location

The last animal is tricky to find—I had a lot of trouble trying to locate it among the cliffs! Use the Inscribed Mirror to see the point-of-view of the animal. Use the Four-Leaf Sigils to propel yourself to the top of the cliffs (no need to climb!), then head to the northern part of the challenge area, where you'll find the Desert Fox. Interact with the Desert Fox to retrieve it, completing the challenge. Don't forget to claim rewards through the event menu.
