We have made a new format for all of this information, and it includes everything you need to know about Small Lamp Grass!

Small Lamp Grass

We also have an All Genshin Impact Characters list, that gives all available details on all characters in the game, and that includes those rumored to be coming in later updates.

Additionally, we have an All Genshin Impact Materials list, which covers all Ascension and Talent Materials currently in the game!

The Genshin Impact world known as Teyvat is gigantic, and it's meant to get even bigger if the rumors are true about the upcoming update 1.1! Teyvat is gorgeous, and what makes things even better is the day and night cycle, as seeing various places at different times can make a world of difference. The cycle also changes what items appear, as some only appear during the day, and vice versa at night. Remember that if you're trying to desperately hunt for something, you might come to realize you've been hunting during the wrong time! One such item is the Small Lamp Grass, which only appears at night!

Small Lamp Grass

Small Lamp Grass grows in quite a large number in a few areas. The best places to find it are in Wolvendom, which is located to the north-west of Springvale, and the Whispering Woods to the north-east of Mondstadt, and south of the Statue of the Seven at Galesong Hill, which is located just underneath Windrise.

Small Lamp Grass can be used for several things, first is for cooking, as it can be used to make two dishes which are:

  • Once Upon a Time in Mondstadt
    • Rarity: 3 Stars
    • Ingredients: Raw Meat x 3, Small Lamp Grass x 1, Potato x 3 and Cheese x 1
    • Effect: Increases all party members' CRIT Rate by 20% and CRIT DMG by 20% for 300 seconds.
  •  Pile 'Em Up
    • Rarity: 3 Stars
    • Ingredients: Raw Meat x 3, Small Lamp Grass x 1, Potato x 3 and Cheese x 1
    • Effect: Increases all party members' CRIT Rate by 10-20% for 300 seconds.

However, the second thing is the most important, as it's used for certain characters Ascension. These characters are Amber, Diluc, and Fischl. Each of these characters has Small Lamp Grass as the main material, so it takes 168 Small Lamp Grass to Ascend one character. Meaning, if you are using 2 of these characters, you need 336 and 504 if using all 3 of the characters!

Why not grind for Small Lamp Grass while completing the Weekly Mission to collect 100 Mondstadt Local Specialties, as Small Lamp Grass counts towards 100!
