How to change your name in Genshin Impact

We all make naming mistakes.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play game with a good story and a creative world. When you started playing the game, though, you probably didn't think that it would have this level of production value. If you named your Traveler something cringe-worthy, then don't worry there's a way to change it.

To change your name, you just need to follow these simple steps.

  • Open Genshin Impact.
  • Open your menu and click on the pencil icon beside your name.
  • Click on change nickname and enter the name you desire.
  • Once you click confirm, the name shown on your profile and the name of the Traveler will be changed.

You can change your nickname as many times as you want and it is completely free to do so. Keep in mind that this is also the name that will show up when you are in co-op with other players. This change will also reflect on your account across all platforms that you play on.
