How to collect the Spirit Orb in Genshin Impact – An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade

In An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade, you'll head to Mt. Xuanlian with Little Mao, where you have to solve a puzzle surrounding the abandoned pavilion. You must collect three Spirit Orbs by manipulating objects with adeptal powers.

Adeptal powers are versatile and can be applied across various scenarios. I'll show you how to use them to solve all three Spirit Orb puzzles below.

Genshin Impact collect the Spirit Orb (3/3) puzzle solution – An Ancient Sacrifice of Sacred Brocade

Before starting this segment, prepare a DPS team as you need to defeat enemies to unlock the third Spirit Orb. You can collect them in any order.

Collect the Spirit Orb (1/3)

We'll start with the southernmost Spirit Orb, circled in the image above. Simply glide down from the pavilion when you get there. Start the puzzle by using adeptal powers on the Jade Hairpin (which looks more like a tree branch), where the arrow is pointing above. Doing so will trigger the platform directly in front of it to rise.

Next, pan the camera in the opposite direction, then use the adeptal powers on the area the arrow is pointing above. Doing so will trigger the platform in front of it to fall.

Since the platform has fallen, the censer and cauldron are now lined up. Use the adeptal powers on the cauldron, which will trigger the censer in front of it to activate. Refer to the arrow in the image above.

Pan the camera to the opposite side again, then make sure your character is standing in a straight line with the other cauldron and censer. Use the adeptal powers on the cauldron to likewise activate the censer. Doing so will trigger a small cutscene, where another platform soars higher up.

Since both centers have been activated, the fish statue at the center will unlock. Use adeptal powers on it to collect the Spirit Orb, completing the objective. A Precious Chest will also spawn in front of the statue—don't forget to loot it for rewards.

Collect the Spirit Orb (2/3)

Next, I'll walk you through the second Spirit Orb puzzle located in the northern quest area. Head to the location circled in the image above to find it. Once you get there, turn your attention upwards, where you'll find a Jade Hairpin attached to a cliff, as pictured above. Use adeptal powers to remove the Jade Hairpin.

Once done, turn your attention to the top of the cherry blossom tree. Use adeptal powers to place the Jade Hairpin in the marked area, allowing a cascade to fall.

Close to the water, you'll find a Sacred Simulacrum on a log. Use adeptal powers to remove the Sacred Simulacrum, which you need to place onto the floating platform. Press and hold the Elemental Skill button, then position the glowing spot onto the center of the platform. Release to place the Sacred Simulacrum, which will trigger another platform to emerge from the center of the clearing.

Use adeptal powers on the statue containing the Spirit Orb on the platform that just emerged. Then head to the bottom of the cascade and use adeptal powers to transfer the position of the statue (see second image above), allowing it to activate. You need to use adeptal powers a third time to collect the Spirit Orb, completing the objective. An Exquisite Chest will also spawn nearby, so don't forget to loot it.

Collect the Spirit Orb (3/3)

The final Spirit Orb is located in the easternmost quest area, circled in the image above. When you get there, defeat all the Hilichurls to unlock the statue at the center of the clearing.

This part was a little buggy for me. I had to run around the area for a bit before the yellow symbol appeared on top of the unlocked statue, signifying that adeptal powers can be used on it.

With that said, use adeptal powers on the statue with the Spirit Orb to remove it from its existing placement. Then, use adeptal powers in the area up ahead (see second image above) to place the statue there.

Look up to find a Jade Hairpin attached to the mountain on the right. Use adeptal powers to remove the Jade Hairpin, then turn left (you should see a cherry blossom tree) and use adeptal powers again to place the Jade Hairpin on the western mountain.

Doing so will activate the Spirit Orb below. Use adeptal powers on the statue with the Spirit Orb to collect it, completing the objective. Don't forget to claim your Exquisite Chest reward as well.
