The Emperor of Fire and Iron is a Genshin Impact boss that can be found in Fontaine's Belleau Region. It lives in an underwater cave filled with boiling water, but to get there, you need to do a bit of diving. The boss drops Emperor's Resolution—a character Ascension material for Lyney and possibly other upcoming characters as well.
Where to Find the Emperor of Fire and Iron in Genshin Impact
To find the Emperor of Fire and Iron, you first need to dive into the underwater area between the Romaritime Harbor and the West Slope of Mont Automnequi. There are many ways you can get to this underwater zone, but I recommend swimming from the Teleport Waypoint south of the West of Mont Automnequi. Once you're swimming in the deep water, dive to get to the underwater zone.
Once you're underwater, swim to the area circled in the image above, which shouldn't be too far if you used the method above. You'll find a huge tunnel going downward. From here, you must dive to the bottom of the tunnel.
At the bottom of the tunnel, you'll find a small pocket signifying you're close to land. The area is marked by a Hydroculus, so it's hard to miss. Swim toward the shallow water to find yourself inside a cave where you can walk on foot.
You'll find the Emperor of Fire and Iron in a clearing, as well as a Teleport Waypoint. I urge you to activate the Waypoint to make it easier to get to this area for farming later down the line.

Genshin Impact Emperor's Resolution Farming Guide
The Emperor of Fire and Iron isn't a difficult boss to defeat; the battle is straightforward and doesn't involve any gimmicky mechanics. However, I highly recommend bringing a character that can consistently apply Hydro to make it easier to break the boss' shield. Breaking the Emperor of Fire and Iron's shield will make it easier to deal damage to its actual HP, and it will significantly weaken the boss to the point where it will no longer barrage you with attacks.
While you can still defeat the boss without getting rid of its shield, its shield-free version is comparatively tame and significantly easier to defeat. It only took me 10 seconds to defeat it after getting rid of the shield, so again, the Hydro shield breaker is strongly recommended.
