How to get past the blue and yellow Shield-Light Barriers in Enkanomiya | Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact always introduces new mechanics for players to sink their teeth into. It's no surprise that a foreign place like Enkanomiya would have some intresting mechanics not seen anywhere else in Teyvat. If you want to complete the area, then you'll need to master its unique systems.

Once you complete Enkanomiya's main quest, The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent, you will be able to switch between Evernight and Whitenight. Luckily, you don't need to go back to the tower every time you want to change, there are several smaller switches sprinkled around the map that can change this setting.

You will need to use the system and small switches when possible to bypass the barrier puzzles. If you're doing a puzzle in a ruin, like the ones found in the main quest, there will usually be a switch nearby so you can change back and forth at your leisure.

How to get past the blue and yellow shield-light barriers in Enkanomiya:

• Yellow Barrier: Change to Evernight
• Blue Barrier: Change to Whitenight

If you come across a blocked puzzle, be sure to mark it on your map. This way, when you change to the other Enkanomiya setting, you nowhere to go to collect the chests you need.
