How to make a custom obstacle course in Genshin Impact

As part of Genshin Impact's 2.5 Update, Divine Ingenuity, players will gain access to their own domain to edit and share with friends. This update officially releases on Feb. 16, 2022. Through this update, players will be able to create all sorts of interesting spaces that are special to them. In particular, they will be able to create obstacle courses and custom challenges.

How to Gain Access to a Custom Domain

First off, players will need to unlock access to custom domains through a couple of in-game tasks. These tasks are called the Preset Domain challenges. These challenges are a tutorial on how the mechanics work within a custom domain and how to create set pieces. Players should take their time through the challenges and pay attention so they gain as much information as possible toward creating their own challenging levels.

The last part of the Preset Challenges is a race through a domain to collect all of the Adventure Coins within an obstacle course. Once completed within the time limit, players will gain full access to custom domains and obstacle courses. Players will then receive the Editor's Screen, which they can design levels on.

The Editor's Screen will allow players to add traps, mechanisms, platforms, obstacles, and more within their map. It will also allow the player to set prerequisites as to what other players need to complete to finish the course. These can be a time limit, a number of Adventure Coins to collect, or an area to reach. Once they're all set, players can share their creations by publishing them to the Genshin Impact community during the Divine Ingenuity event.

Just remember that players have to prove that the course can be completed by them before they can publish the level. Once published, each level created will have a Domain ID. This ID will make it easy to share with anyone across social media.
