How to solve Evermotion Mechanical Painting Sumeru II in Genshin Impact

The Duel! The Summoners' Summit! event runs from May 25, 2023, to June 19, 2023, taking the Traveler and Paimon around Teyvat to experience the King of Invokations Grand Prix. During the event, you can take part in a plethora of mini-games, including the Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker. I found this to be a little trickier than the earlier rendition of Felix Yogue's Evermotion Mechanical Painting, but it's still a fun puzzle nonetheless.

How to unlock Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Sumeru II in Genshin Impact

To unlock the Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker mini-game in Inazuma, you need to complete the final Event Quest called Culminate! Chatter of Joyous Dreams to unlock the TCG venue in Port Ormos. In addition, you also need to complete all seven previous Evermotion Mechanical Paintings around Teyvat:

• Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Mondstadt I
• Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Mondstadt II
• Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Liyue I
• Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Liyue II
• Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Inazuma I
• Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Inazuma II
• Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Sumeru I

Once you've done all of the above, head to the King of Invokations competition venue in Port Ormos to begin solving puzzles in the region.

Genshin Impact Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Sumeru II puzzle solution

Interact with the Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Sumeru II display in Port Ormos to begin the puzzle. Upon starting, select Surface I and click on the Swap Surfaces button on the right of the screen. Then, click on the horizontal swap icon to change the positions of the upper plates.

Next, select Surface II and click on the Swap Surfaces button on the right of the screen. Then, click on the vertical swap icon to change the positions of the upper plates.

Ignore Surface III as it doesn't need to be moved. Jump straight to Gear Column 1 and select a Large Gear. Reference the image above for how the puzzle should look at this point.

You can also ignore Gear Column 2 as it doesn't require any cogs. Click on Gear Column 3 and slot a Medium Gear into place. Reference the image above for how the puzzle should look at this point.

Next, switch to Gear Column 4 and select a Medium Gear. Reference the image above for how the puzzle should look at this point.

Finally, select Gear Column 5 and select a Large Gear. Doing so will prompt the cogs to move, completing the puzzle.
