With Sumeru's release closing in on Genshin Impact, leakers have begun discovering information about Fontaine, the region that's expected to drop in Version 4.0 next year. While little information has been revealed about the nation of justice, a recent installment of leaks hints at its possible location, as well as the most probable route to get there—for now, at least.
According to a leak posted in r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks, Fontaine is a nation that shares a border with Qiaoying Village. This area was first mentioned in the Of Drink-A-Dreaming event, as well as dialogue with Little Meng in a Liyue Daily Commission, both of which revealed that Qiaoying Village is well-known for producing high-quality tea. However, its placement in the World Map has been unclear until the recent leaks that surfaced, revealing that it's located north of Liyue.

With that said, it makes the most sense for Qiaoying Village to be the easiest route to take to get into Fontaine. Nothing has been revealed about the relationship between the two areas, but given how Fontaine's technological advancements have created investment frenzies among Liyue merchants (such as the Luminescent Spine scam in Ningguang's Hangout Event), it could be presumed that they share a transactional relationship.
Since Qiaoying Village has not yet been released in Genshin Impact, players can look forward to the new area's release in the future. No leaks, hints, or announcements have been made to form reliable speculation of when that will come, so keep an eye out for official information through Genshin Impact's social media channels.
