The Mouun's Moon is a four-star bow and is a potentially great choice for empowering Sub-DPS characters—especially those that rely on their Elemental Burst skills. In particular, you'll enjoy this weapon if your team composition is filled with characters with a high Energy Cost.
How to Get
Players can obtain this limited weapon on rate-up through the Epitome Invocation that runs from Nov. 2, 2021, to Nov. 23, 2021. Each pull costs one Intertwined Fate or 160 Primogems.
Unfortunately, the weapon isn't likely to enter the Standard banner after this rotation is over. But don't worry! There's a good chance for the bow to return in another limited banner in the future.

Base Attack: 44-565
Substat: Attack (6-27.6 percent)
Passive: Watatsumi Wavewalker—For every point of the entire party's combined maximum Energy capacity, the Elemental Burst Damage of the character equipping this weapon is increased by 0.12/0.15/0.18/0.21/0.24 percent. A maximum of 40/50/60/70/80 percent increased Elemental Burst Damage can be achieved this way.

Passive Explanation
The party's maximum Energy capacity is based on each character's Energy Cost. Essentially, you need to add up the Energy Cost of your entire party to figure out its maximum Energy capacity. Multiply it by the Elemental Burst Damage percentage increase (dependent on Refinement Rank) and compare the result against the maximum Damage increase cap to figure out how much you can get out of this passive.
So if you have four members with 90 Energy Cost each, your maximum Energy Capacity is 360. At Refinement Rank 1, Mouun's Moon should give you +43.2 percent Elemental Burst Damage, but since it caps at 40 percent, you will receive a 40 percent increase instead.

Who Can Use Mouun's Moon
Mouun's Moon suffers from being a four-star bow—because there are plenty of other great options that offer more benefits to the current character lineup. One problem you'll encounter is that the bow's Elemental Burst Damage bonus is dependent on your entire team's maximum Energy capacity, which will force you to put together a high Energy team comp—limiting your options.
Theoretically, Mouun's Moon is a wonderful choice for Elemental Burst nukers, such as:
- Burst DPS Childe on bow stance
- Burst or Sub-DPS Kujou Sara
- Burst or Sub-DPS Ganyu
- Venti
- Aloy
- Burst DPS Fischl
The Mouun's Moon is not necessarily the best-in-slot choice for any of these characters. But if you don't have other options, it doesn't hurt to use it until you get a better bow.
