Who is Kusanali, the Dendro Archon in Genshin Impact?

Genshin Impact has been teasing Sumeru for quite some time. In fact, Yae Miko herself drops several lore bombs about the Dendro Archon and confirms that they are a female. There is a bit of skepticism regarding the true identity of the Dendro Archon, with many fans believing that the real one went into hiding.

Lesser Lord Kusanali is the name given by Yae Miko and proceeded The God of the Woods in leading Sumeru. This event seems to have occurred during the invasion of Khaenri'ah, where it seems that many gods fell, including Makoto, the sister of Ai.

Due to the strange lore surrounding The God of the Woods, many players theorize that Baizhu may actually be the Dendro Archon. This is based on several bits of lore, which may suggest that—while gravely injured—The God of the Woods did manage to survive and flee the battle.

Kusanali is the one currently in Sumeru, and Zhongli revealed that they are the youngest archon, at around 500 years old.
