Yae Miko is one of the more aloof characters in Genshin Impact. She is a powerful Kitsune who watches over the Grand Narukami Shrine and is respected all across Inazuma. Despite this title, though, she isn't what you would expect out of a Guuji.
Yae Miko's birthday is on June 27, and she is said to be around 500 years old. The game shows a young version of Yae in a cutscene dating around 500 years in the past, and she seems to have known Ai since she was a young child.
Despite her position at the shrine, Yae has a playful side and owns the Yae Publishing House. She wanted to get involved in light novel publications simply because she liked to read them. She also seems to be close to some of her writers, as she's seen teasing Gorou in his Hang Out event.
This is likely linked to her cynical personality, which only comes out to those she is close with. She is very blunt when discussing Inazuma's secrets like Scaramouche with the Traveler and even goes against Raiden Shogun without a second thought.
