Tom Clancy games are already known for their quality, but the best part of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is that you can play it as a solo player or bond with your friends through its multiplayer option. Now, the big question is will you be able to play with your friends through crossplay?
Is Crossplay available for Ghost Recon Breakpoint?
Sadly, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is not crossplay—even though it is available on a lot of devices. Aside from PC, the game is available on many consoles such as Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS5.
Will there be crossplay in Ghost Recon Breakpoint?
According to MMORPG’s interview with Eric Couzian, the Creative Director of the game, the team has “a lot of things in store” for the game, which could mean more major updates. Everything is on their pipeline, from new episodes to a new class to even crossplay. However, players might have to wait for it to come because, based on this exchange, the timeline is still vague.
MMORPG: Are you able to say right now if it's crossplay between PC and console?
Eric: Not for the moment.
MMORPG: But [the news] is coming?
Eric: We will have information later.
MMORPG: This winter?
Eric: We don't know yet. (smiles)
While we might still need to wait a little longer for crossplay to be supported, you can still play with your friends if you have Ghost Recon: Breakpoint on the same device. Take some revenge against the Wolves and free Auroa from their hands!
