Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed does a fantastic job of keeping its source's frequently absurd and chaotic energy alive and well both in character dialogue and gameplay. Since it's set in a completely different time than the original film, many might wonder if it has its own unique story. Here's what we know.
Does Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed have a story mode?
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed has an underlying story and cutscenes. It does not have a specific game mode tied to the story. All cutscenes are unlocked by progressing in player levels via multiplayer matches. After a threshold to unlock another scene is met, you'll be prompted to view it.
If you've skipped a cutscene or two to get back to playing with friends, there is a way to view unlocked cutscenes anytime. If you look in the center of the firehouse on the lower level, there is a TV with the ghostbusters logo floating on it. Interact with the TV, and you'll be able to select any of the cutscenes you've unlocked to rewatch.
