Grounded has numerous resources and materials to find and gather; Sap is an extremely useful ingredient in numerous recipes. Keep reading below to learn how to find Sap in Grounded.
How to get Sap in Grounded
Sap is a useful resource in Grounded and can be found fairly easily. It is found on roots and trees, making the oak tree one of the best places to find Sap. You can find it throughout the various biomes and areas of Grounded; just look for pieces of wood, as this is the most common place Sap spawns.
You can find Sap in single droplets, or you may find it in clumps. Clumps can be broken with a hammer, and you will get multiple pieces of Sap. Additionally, you can craft a Sap Catcher and passively collect Sap without having to seek it out. All of these are good ways to get Sap, and I recommend using a combination to increase your Sap supply.

How to craft a Sap Catcher
Sap Catchers are a production utility. Every 10 minutes, you can earn a single piece of Sap. It requires the following ingredients.
- Acorn Top x1
- Weed Stem x2
- Crude Rope x4
A Sap Catcher must be placed at an angle on roots or branches. It produces Sap as the game progresses up to five pieces of Sap. Once the bowl is filled, it will not produce Sap until you clear it. Sap is used in a variety of recipes; some of these are Fiber Bandage, Torch, Eyepatch, Armor Glue, Plant Lamp, Workbench, Sconce, and some others that you will unlock down the road!
