You would think that the Musket would only be present in Rockstar Games' other highly regarded series Red Dead Redemption, however, in this case you would be wrong as it is also available it GTA Online! Not to mention, it is actually quite a high-powered weapon worth having. So, how do you get it?
Whilst running into your nearest Ammu-Nation you might notice that the Musket isn't available on the wall. That is because you can only purchase it once a year on July 4th as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
If you have just missed the opportunity this time around then unfortunately you will have to wait until the next fourth of July to swipe this old timey gun! However, once purchased it will remain permanently in your inventory; so no need to worry about it disappearing for 364 days of the year!

If you are quite the connoisseur of guns in GTA then you will no doubt be wondering why you would want a Musket when you can have an SMG that wipes out those pesky cops a lot quicker! In this case though, the Musket is actually a powerful weapon that fairs considerably with its stats. So, next time you get the chance make sure to grab it!
