Roblox, along with Fortnite, has been dominating as the top sandbox platform for quite a few years, but there seems to be competition in the works. Reportedly, Grand Theft Auto VI is looking into becoming the next best sandbox platform out there.
According to Digiday, Rockstar Games studio is trying to make GTA 6 the next big creator platform. The studio seems to be in touch with Roblox and Fortnite creators, as well as GTA content creators, to potentially get them to make their own custom experiences in the long-awaited game.
The Grand Theft Auto franchise has already included plenty of game modes as well as a Creator tool, which the fans have been using to its full potential, but they seem to be taking it a step further this time. If this is true, then the game should give people more freedom to modify the game by bringing in their own intellectual property.

Reaching out to already established creators means that they can also bring in their sponsors and ensure that they already have some interesting content ready to go once the game goes live. However, it's not yet certain how the creators themselves would benefit from this collaboration other than the potential exposure and a new sandbox to play with.
What Roblox-like GTA 6 Games to Expect
Fans on Reddit are already speculating about the upgrade, with suggested experiences such as Prop Hunt, Zombies, and more. If they do it right, the potential for creativity could be endless, especially for the fans of role-playing.
So far, there has been no official confirmation from the Studio itself. We'll have to wait and see if the rumors are true, but this has definitely increased the hype for GTA6 (not like we weren't hyped enough already with how long we've been waiting).
