How to attach an ignition bomb to a car in Grand Theft Auto 3 – Definitive Edition

They'll never see it coming.

Need to take out someone discreetly without becoming a target yourself? Forget about baseball bats and guns. How about blowing up an enemy's car right when they start it? This is a neat feature added into GTA 3 that continued to make its appearance into the next games as well. With it, you can turn any vehicle into a deadly trap for any unsuspecting person. Dispatching enemies has never been easy with the car bomb. Here's how to do it.

First, pick any car that you want to use, preferably something you don't care about losing. Drive to the location shown in the image above. It is marked with a red waypoint. Drive around back and you will see a small garage building with an eight-ball bomb on the front of it. Drive inside the garage and wait for the door to close. When it opens again, your car will now be strapped with a car bomb.

How to Use the Bomb

Once it's on the car, the bomb can now be armed at your own discretion. To arm the bomb, press left on the directional pad. A prompt for this action will be located on the bottom right of your screen.

Important note: Once the bomb is armed, getting out of the car and then getting back in will kill you. So, it might be best to use it sooner rather than later. At least before you forget.

That's all there is to it. Be careful not to blow yourself up!
