Chapter 12 of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy involves a crucial decision on Knowhere. The Guardians return to Cosmo, who has now given in to The Promise and is happily playing in his own world.
The players must select the dialogue options that remind Cosmo of Knowhere and his puppies if they want to help Cosmo. He will sink further into The Promise if he concentrates on his Earthly experience.
Pick these options:
- "Offer Hand" - Cosmo will be reminded that Star-Lord has always been friendly towards him and will begin to doubt where he is truly at.
- "Focus on Present" - Cosmo should think about Knowhere in the present tense, not where he was in the past.
- "Remind About Puppies" - This will allow Cosmo to leave his fantasy behind, and he will go running after his puppies. Players can skip a small puzzle at the end of the chapter if they help him.
After that, Cosmo will be grateful and show up in the final battle to help the Guardians.
