Is the Nintendo Cloud version of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy different from the other versions?

Nintendo is releasing Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy differently than other console makers. This does not affect the gameplay of the base game. Nintendo's version will come with the same game as everyone else's.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy cannot be pre-ordered. There is also no deluxe version of the Nintendo version. Therefore, there will be no bonuses for pre-order or deluxe edition for players of the Nintendo version.

Additionally, there is no physical release. You must purchase this game from the Nintendo eShop to play it. Nintendo's release is "Cloud-based", which means it requires a constant internet connection to play. For Nintendo's version of the game, a strong internet connection is recommended.

You should only buy Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy if you have a strong internet connection. Poor internet connections will result in poor gameplay. If you have a Nintendo Switch and just want the game and have the required connection, this is the version for you.
