Assassin's Creed Valhalla How to get the DLC items

To get the DLC items from Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ultimate Edition, you must complete the Family Matters main story quest, and during this quest, you'll receive the Berserker items.

Family Matters is the second quest in the game, and after speaking to Randvi, a pop-up notification will occur, informing you that the bonus items have been added to your inventory. There are 3 Berserker packs and 1 set of runes. These are only available to those who have purchased the special edition of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, otherwise known as the Ultimate Edition.

The contents for the Berserker Gear Pack are the following:

  • Bear-Claw Axe (Superior).
  • Ursine Guard Shield (Superior).
  • Berserker Torso (Superior).
  • Berserker Cloak (Superior).
  • Berserker Helmet (Superior).
  • Berserker Bracers (Superior).
  • Berserker Breeches (Superior).

This Berseker armor set has a set bonus. This bonus increases Eivor's Speed, Attack, and Armor after you have taken damage, and it lasts until you heal. Once you heal, the bonuses are removed until you retake damage. We wonder if you can use this armor set for your mercenary in the multiplayer aspect of Assassin's Creed Valhalla?

The second pack is the Berserker Settlement Pack, in which you receive schematics for use later on when you can start building and upgrading your settlement in New England. And the third is the Berserker Longboat skin, but at the start of the game, you cannot customize your boat; however, you will be able to further on in the game.

The Rune Set appears in your inventory at the same type as the rest of the Berserker Packs. These runes can be slotted into any piece of equipment that has a rune slot augment. When the rune is slotted into place, the weapon /armor will receive the said rune's bonus. On weapons, this could be increased damage, and on armor, it'll add more armor, etc.

Strangely, you don't receive any cosmetics in the items you with the Ultimate Edition, such as new tattoos or hairstyles.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla releases November 10 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, Amazon Luna, PC (via Ubisoft Connect, and Epic Games Store) and November 12 for PlayStation 5.
