How to do Homework in The Sims 4

I haven't had to do homework since graduation! Oh wait... why Sims why?!

Games of all kinds are great for escaping the real world. Sometimes though, the things we are trying to avoid in the outside world come into the game as well. An example of this being the dreaded task of homework! The good thing about doing homework in The Sims 4 is that you don't actually have to do it yourself! But if you have a particularly rebellious sim you may have a hard time trying to get them to do it. Procrastination is seemingly not just for humans. Here's how to do homework in The Sims 4.

How to do Homework in The Sims 4

You will be able to find any homework that has been assigned in your sim's inventory. There are two types of homework: grade school homework and high school homework, then there are also extra credit projects.

To do any of the mentioned assignments do as follows:

Click on your inventory (the box icon in the lower right hand corner)

Select the homework

Click do homework

Your sim will then proceed to do the homework if they have a high enough responsibility, but may need more persuasion if they are going through a phase! When sims are sent home with extra credit work they may not always start this by themselves, especially if you have the game set to autonomy turned off (meaning you control everything they do at all times). Simply check your inventory and then select the extra credit work as usual, or you can place the object in the world and have the sim interact with it from there. Extra credit work makes your sims grades higher, so it's worth doing!

And like that you can have your sim doing the very task your tried to avoid so eagerly everyday after school, unless you were a good student!
