There is an abundance of tags in GTA San Andreas that can be found all over Los Santos. Tags will be introduced to you for the first time during the mission "Tagging Up The Turf." Following this mission, CJ will have a spray can waiting for him in his mother's house. A player can switch to the Spray Can by pressing the button to switch weapons (L1 on the PS4).

This can also be used as a weapon by the players. The spray cans can disorient and even kill your enemies if you use them effectively.

When the police see CJ tagging a wall, they will attempt to arrest him.
