Super Robot Wars 30 is the 30th-anniversary edition of the iconic Super Robot Wars games series. A turn-based tactics RPG that features a crossover of popular mecha anime shows, the game's main draw is the variety of giant robots on offer in the game.
No doubt, one of the most popular mecha series in the world is the Gundam franchise. With over 40 years and over two dozen unique series and movies, Gundam is prolific. But are the mobile suits of the Gundam universe in Super Robot Wars 30? And Is Super Robot Wars a Gundam game?
The answer is yes! Mecha from a variety of Gundam series are featured in Super Robot Wars 30. You can find a list of them below:

However, Super Robot Wars isn’t entirely a Gundam game. Frequently in Super Robot Wars, the mobile suits and protagonists of the franchise play second fiddle to other series.

The mecha in SRW are divided into Real Robots and Super Robots. Super Robots tend to be bigger, badder, and have more unbelievable powers. Meanwhile, Real Robots, a category Gundam falls into, are more grounded in reality… but have incredible firepower and ranged attacks to make up for it!
In Super Robot Wars 30, like previous games, you’ll have to use a variety of Super Robots and Real Robots to complete mission objectives and beat the game. But as you can choose which mecha you deploy in many missions, if you’re a die-hard Gundam fan, feel free to flood the battlefield with as many Gundams, Zakus, and mobile suits as you can.
