How to make money Watch Dogs: Legion

To make money in Watch Dogs: Legion is quite easy, and it can be done in a number of ways. The first is by finding specific operatives that either gain or save you money; the second is locating ETO caches throughout London, skimming money out of ATMs, hacking safes, and the third by completing activities such as Parcel Fox missions and the Bare Knuckle League.

ETO is a cryptocurrency that is used in Watch Dogs: Legion and is only used for buying clothing, weapon, and vehicle skins. You'll rarely come across massive amounts of ETO, but it will accumulate over time! Though it's not overly essential, who doesn't want to look stylish?

Finding specific operatives

There are 4 unique operatives that will help you make or save money in Watch Dogs: Legion; though they will not make you large amounts exceedingly fast, it will add up over time to a considerable sum of money. Here are the 4 you want to keep an eye out for:

  • Skilled Investor
    • Having the Skilled Investor ability on your team or one of your recruits will increase the ETO gained throughout any activity for your entire team.
  • Crypto Skimmer
    • The Crypto Skimmer ability increases the chance of receiving money every time you hack something. Combine this with the ability Viral Hacking, which allows you to spread hacks to target many things at once. You'll be making ETO in no time!
  • Takedown Thief
    • If a recruit has the Takedown Thief ability, you will earn ETO every time you takedown an enemy.
  • Loyalty Card
    • The Loyalty Card ability gives an extra discount on shopping apparel, so always take control of an operative with this ability before you go shopping!

ETO Caches

Throughout London, they are two types of ETO caches that can be found. The most common type is marked on your minimap, and all you have to do is get within scanning range with a person, a drone, or even a spider-bot, and the crypto is yours. You'll get about 200-300 ETO from each small cache. If you come across any ATMs, you can skim these for a small amount of ETO, but these are pretty rare to find.

It's the other ETO cache that you want to keep an eye open for, as this type is the larger cache out of the two - safes. Safes are normally always located in restricted areas, but by robbing these, you'll get roughly about 1000 ETO. You can even open these safes using spider-bots, so your operative isn't in any danger, especially if playing with permadeath mode enabled.

Completing activities

Any activity you complete in Watch Dogs: Legion will earn you ETO, but two, in particular, will make you become loaded in no time at all! First is the Parcel Fox missions, and the second is the Bare Knuckle League.

Parcel Fox missions

Parcel Fox is a courier service, which allows any operative to pick-up a box and deliver it to earn ETO. However, the parcel determines how much ETO is awarded, as some are labeled as fragile, are timed, and some may contain contraband that attracts unwanted attention. But if each is handled well, a bonus ETO will be awarded.

Bare Knuckle League

The Bare Knuckle League holds five fistfight tournaments scattered around London, and each one has it's own champion. If you manage to take down these champions, plenty of ETO is awarded. After claiming the title in each tournament, they will start to host exhibition tournaments starring brand new fighters. If you manage to grab the attention of high rollers, you can gain additional rewards if you meet their betting goals.
