During the Nintendo Direct Showcase in September 2021, many Kirby fans were surprised to see that he is coming back with another chapter in the series. Kirby and the Forgotten Land poses to be a major shift in the series, steering away from the sidescroller genre and moving towards a playstyle similar to Super Mario Odyssey or Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The biggest question players are facing right now is this: When can we play it? To that, we have some good news! The game is currently slated for release on March 25, 2022. This falls in line with the release date originally announced in the reveal trailer played at the Nintendo Direct Showcase, which stated Spring of 2022.

To date, Kirby is one of the few major Nintendo characters to have most of their games centered on sidescroller, platform levels, so we're excited to play when the Forgotten Land is finally available!
