Here's everything you need to know about finding and getting Ballistic Fiber in Fallout 76

You can get ballistic fiber by scraping the items listed below.

  • Military Ammo Bags: Two ballistic fiber
  • Military Grade Duct Tape: Two ballistic fiber
  • Piezonucleic Liner: Two ballistic fiber
  • Torn Mothman Wing: One ballistic fiber
  • Mysterious fur: One ballistic fiber

All of these resource items will yield you a small amount of ballistic fiber, but some are rarer and harder to get, so you are better off farming specific locations where the ammo bags and duct tape spawn.

That being said, you can get these items from the following locations listed below.

  • Camp McClintock
  • Clancy Mannor
  • Converted Munitions Factory
  • Camp Venture
  • Firebase Major
  • Firebase Hancock
  • Fort Defiance
  • National Radio Research Center
  • The Thorn
  • Watoga Civic Center

Inside these locations, you will want to search for both duct tape and the ammo bags. Once found, you can get ballistic fiber by scraping them in any crafting utility in the game.

You can also get ballistic fiber by scraping the many power armor chassis you can find in the game; scraping a power armor chassis will also give you around five ballistic fibers. Because of this, we recommend farming these chassis on top of the ammo bags and duct tape. Once you finish looting all locations, simply hop servers and do it all over again until you have enough ballistic fiber.
