How to get the Kong Medal in Halo Infinite

That's going to leave a mark.

Halo Infinite's multiplayer is filled to the brim with weapons, vehicles, equipment, and most important of all, medals. These are mini achievements you can earn by playing and performing certain tasks. Some are easy to get while others can be a bit more tricky. One of the trickier ones to get is the Kong Medal.

To get the Kong Medal, you will need to pick up a fusion coil and throw it at an enemy, killing them. This was most likely named after Donkey Kong who is known for throwing barrels, even if they weren't explosive.

This is tricky because throwing a fusion coil isn't as simple as it sounds. Once you have picked up a fusion coil, your movement speed is reduced to walking and you cannot fire another gun or throw a grenade. Doing so will cause you to drop the fusion coil. The trajectory you throw the coil can also be a bit weird so it might help to practice this.

We recommend attempting this in Big Team Battle as there are plenty of fusion coils and plenty of enemies to throw them at. Getting closer makes killing them with the fusion coil easier, but you also run the risk of blowing yourself up.
