No farming simulator is complete without fishing, and Harvestella has included the fan-favorite activity. Fishing is a great way to make money, cook delicious recipes, or relax after a long day of farming. But you need to start the game with the ability to fish, which may leave you wondering how to unlock fishing in Harvestella.

To unlock fishing in Harvestella, you must go to Lethe Village, the starting town. Go to the General Store and purchase the fishing guide. This will cost you 800 Grilla, which you can collect within the first few days. This will allow you to start fishing in all areas of Harvestella.

How to fish in Harvestella

Fishing in Harvestella is a rather simple but enjoyable activity. To fish, throw your line in the water and watch the bobber. Once the bobber starts to move, wait for a white splash to appear, then use the interact button to reel in the fish. If you time this correctly, you will successfully catch the fish.

Harvestella's fishing encyclopedia lists a total of 58 fish to catch. You will need to travel through Harvestella's world to catch them all and fill out your encyclopedia. One thing to note is that you can scare fish away after catching or failing to catch a fish in a specific location. If this happens, simply move on to a new area and return to that spot later.
