Everything we know about Hearthstone Mercenaries first Limited-Time Event

On Feb. 22, Hearthstone Mercenaries gets its first Limited-Time Event. Chi-Ji will be the focus of this event.

Chi-Ji is one of five new Mercenaries coming to Hearthstone Mercenaries. He is the most mysterious of the bunch, as not much has been revealed about him so far. As part of the August Celestials event, there will be tasks used to harness Chi-Ji's power and strengthen him.

The first five days of the event will see two new tasks added each day, totaling 10 event tasks. Players have been advised that beasts and dragons are essential for some of these Tasks. While it's unclear what that means currently, players should keep at least one beast and one dragon handy.

How long will the Chi-Ji Event last?

On Feb. 26, all tasks will be available, but that does not mean the event will end soon after. Players have until March 8 to complete them all. Thus, they can take their time and not worry about missing out on the event because they couldn't play one day.

What is the reward for the Chi-Ji Event?

As a reward for completing this event, you will receive a Chi-Ji Epic Mercenary Card, a Chi-Ji Mercenary Portrait, and over 1000 total Mercenary Coins. The other mercenaries introduced in the Onyxia patch do not require any special prerequisite.
