Everything we know about Hearthstone’s Lunar New Year (2022)

Hearthstone has welcomed the Lunar New Year again, and there are plenty of new updates for players to experience. Below, you will find a list of all the new features. Lunar New Year begins on Feb. 2, 2022, at 11am PT and ends on Feb. 16, 2022.

Hearthstone will be unavailable from 10am to 11am PT on Feb. 2, 2022. All features listed below will be available when Hearthstone returns.

Make sure you claim the Dancing Lion Card Back if you haven't already. This Card Back is completely free and is a much better design than many of the ones offered by the game. The Card Back will be available until Feb. 8.

Following the Tavish vs. Rokara Tavern Brawl, Hearthstone has brought back the Lunar Blessing Tavern Brawl. The Tavern Brawl is a special seasonal event where players choose a class and receive a random deck. You can make your match stronger by selecting a Blessing from one of the animals of the zodiac. This will begin after the update and end on Feb. 16.

There are more cosmetics this year than ever before in Hearthstone. Three different ranked hero skin bundles are available: new Battlegrounds hero skin bundles, a new Battlegrounds Bartender, and Diao Chan Valeera has new voice lines and a new card back. You can find them in the Shop now through Feb. 16.

The next Legendary Quest Chain will be made up of three parts. The reward will be 1 Forged in Barrens Pack, 1 United in Stormwind Pack, 3 Fractured in Alterac Valley Packs, and 1 Golden Fractured in Alterac Valley Pack. This Legendary Quest Chain will be available after the update and end on Feb. 16.
