Hogwarts Legacy's open world immersive RPG has allowed players to experience magic firsthand. Since its inception, players have been looking for references from the Harry Potter Franchise. How to find the Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy
Recently, Twitter user @MaximRagey posted footage in which the Basilisk can be identified on top of the staircase in the Slytherin common room. This room is off-limits if players select a male character in the game. However, the snake shown in the footage above resembles the size of a Basilisk. This made several players wonder if they too can find a Basilisk in the game.
Potter fans have been loving the similarities they have found between Hogwarts Legacy and the books. Players have been enjoying the art of learning new spells, brewing potions, attending classes, fighting battles, and visiting the iconic locations from the books and movies. In Hogwarts Legacy, some players have discovered a rather vile creature which can be easily recognized from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Since the Basilisk represents the Slytherin House, players may get a chance to see it if they choose Slytherin. The Slytherin common room gate actually opens with a snake forming the door as shown in the image above. This coupled with the Prefect's Washroom easter egg in Hogwarts Legacy teases the Chamber of Secrets in the game.
We have not come across any Chamber of Secrets or Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy yet, but will surely update this piece with more information if when we do. Players can find the entrance which is located in the second-floor girls' bathroom. Fast travel to the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame and visit the washroom to check out the easter egg.
