In Hogwarts Legacy, you will come across various enemies such as the Poachers, Trolls, Inferis, and Dugbogs to name a few. As you progress in the story, you will find many Dueling Feats that appear during combat. The key to completing the challenges is to know the right spells and to use them at the precise time. Here is how you can Freeze a Poacher Stalker while they are readying their attack in Hogwarts Legacy.

What spell can be used to Freeze a Poacher Stalker while they are readying their attack in Hogwarts Legacy?

Poachers are powerful wizards that can be found in the Bandit camps scattered around the Highlands in Hogwarts Legacy. However, these wizards are incapable of producing Shield charms making them susceptible to Attack spells. To Freeze a Poacher Stalker, you need to use the spell Glacius while they are readying their attack. Cast the Freezing spell just as they wave their wand and a not a moment later. A green tick will appear once you successfully Freeze a Poacher Stalker while they are readying their attack. Remember that you need to complete Professor Kogawa’s Assignments prior to use the following spells: Glacius and Arresto Momentum.

Poachers are also known to cast their Tornado Fire spell. If they do, you need to first dodge the attack and then use Expelliarmus. If you use this spell while the Poachers cast the Tornado Fire spell, they will lose control and take damage as a result. After dodging, use Arresto Momentum when the Poacher is casting their Blast Attack.

In Hogwarts Legacy, you will find Poachers hunting and capturing various magical beasts. You can protect these creatures by capturing them using a Nab-Sack. Once you do, take them to the Vivarium inside the Room of Requirement to keep them safe. You can use the Nab-Sack after you complete The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom quest.
