There are four main ways to earn Galleons fast in Hogwarts Legacy. This is by selling unwanted gear, opening chests, requesting additional money from NPCs, and breeding and selling beasts. Each of these is a reliable way to earn money as you progress, so make sure you are doing these things to increase your wealth in Hogwarts Legacy.

You will naturally earn better gear and gear that you don't need as you play. Sell anything you are not using, and you can quickly earn Galleons. This becomes an easy way to make money; just remember to offload your unused inventory every once in a while to cash out.

Chests are another great way to earn Galleons quickly. Open and loot any chest you come across, and remember the locations of the ones you cannot open yet. The Disillusionment Chests are one of the best chests to open, so keep an eye out for these if you explore Hogwarts.

Occasionally, you will have the option when speaking to NPCs to request more Galleons from them. Always select this option to increase how much money you receive. There are no negatives to choosing this option, so make sure it is your selection each time.

Finally, catching, breeding, and selling magical creatures is a steady income of money. While there are many beasts you can capture, Puffskeins and Mooncalfs are easy to catch and fetch a fair price. Focus on these; you will be rolling in Galleons from selling beasts in no time.
