Where to find Stench of the Dead in Hogwarts Legacy

If you're on the hunt for some eau de Dead, you'll want to either buy it from potion shops like J. Pippin's Potions in Hogsmeade or venture out into the wild in search of Inferni. You can find these zombie-like beasts wandering around their graveyard homes. You will definitely encounter Inferni during the Brother's Keeper side quest.

Inferni drop Stench of the Dead when they die. Keep in mind that these monsters can only take damage while they are burning from a fire spell, so we recommend locking both Incendio and Confringo into your quick spell slots before trying to take these guys down.

Stench of the Dead uses

There aren't too many uses for Stench of the Dead outside of potion making. Its main application is through crafting the Thunderbrew potion, which is a combat potion used to inflict damage. When you drink it, the potion will create a storm centered around you that will stun all nearby enemies and cause damage.
