Ashwinder Executioners are wizards who can cast a special type of lightning spell to take down their enemies in combat. To slow them, you need to cast the spell, Arresto Momentum. But remember, that you need to cast it exactly when the Ashwinder Executioner is conjuring their lightning spell. Using Arresto Momentum will slow the motion of the spell giving you an opportunity to launch other enemies into it to deal more damage. To learn Arresto Momentum, you need to complete Professor Kogawa's Assignment 2.

You can also use Expelliarmus to stop the Ashwinder Executioner before they can even cast their lethal lightning spell. To cast the spell, you need to wait for the right time. Just when the Ashwinder waves their wand to cast the spell, you will see a flicker of light, and that is when you must use the Expelliarmus to disarm them from using the lightning spell. To learn Expelliarmus, you need to Professor Hecat's Assignment 2.
