The shop in Hogsmeade that you can purchase is operated by a House Elf named Penny. Penny allows you to sell gear for an extra 10% compared to other shops in Hogsmeade and the Highlands.

The shop does not have any items you can purchase, unfortunately. The only benefit here is the extra Galleons you receive on selling items to Penny.
