Where to find Hippogriffs and Hippogriff feathers in Hogwarts Legacy

In Hogwarts Legacy, you get to explore different regions and meet various magical creatures that can be rescued. Hippogriffs are one of these magical creatures, and you need to know where to find and rescue them. Rescuing magical creatures allows you to keep them safe from Poachers. Here's how to find Hippogriffs and Hippogriff Feathers in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to get Hippogriffs in Hogwarts Legacy

To catch a Hippogriff, you need to visit a Hippogriff den. These dens are scattered around the map, but you'll pass a few while completing some of the main storyline quests. One of the Hippogriff dens we found is located in the Forbidden Forest. Check the yellow circle on the map image above to see its exact location. Visit the location, use the Disillusionment spell to go invisible, and rescue the Hippogriffs by using the Nab-Sack. After rescuing this magical beast, you can take it to the Vivarium and set them free.

Although there are several Hippogriff dens around the map in Hogwarts Legacy, we recommend players visit the one in Forbidden Forest, as you'll see various other magical creatures in the region. There is also another one located in the Feldcroft Region, just west of the Feldcroft Village area. These two locations are the easiest Hippogriff dens you can visit in Hogwarts Legacy. You need to complete The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom quest in Hogwarts Legacy to unlock the Vivarium at the Room of Requirement. This is where you can house your Hippogriffs and eventually mate them after progressing in the storyline.

How to get Hippogriff Feathers in Hogwarts Legacy

You can purchase Hippogriff Feathers from Brood and Peck Shop located at Hogsmeade Village. Hippogriff Feathers cost around 700 Galleons. You can also tame your Hippogriff at the Vivarium to get feathers as a reward. Use the Beast Feed to feed the magical creature and the Beast Petting Brush to pet them. Doing this will reward you with magical materials like Hippogriff Feathers, which can be used to upgrade gear and add traits to them.
