Honkai Star Rail – Best Battle Pass Light Cone to Choose

Choose wisely!

Like Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail features a Battle Pass called Nameless Honor that you can Upgrade to Nameless Glory if you wish to purchase it. When you upgrade, you'll be able to choose one Four-Star Light Cone to add to your account at level 30. There are even more options to choose from in this Battle Pass, due to the categories of weapons expanding from five to seven.

If I were spending my money, I'd want to use it on the most valuable Light Cone. Here's my pick for the best Nameless Glory Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail.

Which Battle Pass Light Cone should you choose in Honkai Star Rail?

After you unlock the Battle Pass, Purchase Nameless Glory, and then reach level 30, you'll be able to choose one of seven Light Cones. I think the Return to Darkness Light Cone is the best option available.

Whether you pull for Seele or not, there are potentially three other characters that follow the path of The Hunt that you will likely prioritize building early on in the game to tackle tough boss fights. Return to darkness not only boost Crit Rate, a highly valuable stat, it actually allows Hunt characters to play a bit of a supplementary support role, dispelling buffs on enemy targets.

All Honkai Star Rail Battle Pass Light Cones, Ranked

No matter where a Light Cone falls on our list, if you have a well-built character that would benefit from one of these great Light Cones, by all means, grab it. Here is our ranking list for all of the Nameless Glory Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail.

  1. Return to Darkness—This Light Cone is universally great on any character that follows the Path of The Hunt and expands what roles in combat they can fill. It is the best option in our opinion.
  2. Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds—The three available Harmony characters are all very powerful characters, and any of them would benefit from this Light Cone. It provides random boosts, which can be unpredictable, but they are all universally beneficial.
  3. Day One of My New Life—This Light Cone provides a hefty Defense boost, which all three Preservation Characters appreciate. Preservation Characters

  1. We Will Meet Again—Nihility characters are harder to come by since you will get none for free. If you do happen to pull any of them from the Gacha and build one one of them, this will almost universally boost their damage.
  2. Today Is Another Peaceful Day— Because this Light cone boosts damage% it has significant, potential, but it also is restricted by Maximum Energy, a fixed value for any character. Erudition characters are also best used for farming materials, and this can be some of the easiest content in the game.
  3. No Where To Run—While this Light Cone is amazing for a tank DPS, like Clara, for a unit like Arlan, who wants to have low HP, the healing effect is actually counter productive to his kit. If you have the right character, snatch it, but otherwise you'll probably get more value out of other Light Cones.
  4. Warmth Shortens Cold Nights—While you'll be relying on well-built Abundance Characters for some time, the two that are currently present in the game do most of their healing via their Ultimate. This Light cone adds a bit of passive healing to their Basic Attacks, but overall we think their is a lot more value in other Light Cones.
