Honkai Star Rail Simulated Universe World 9 guide: Best auto teams, paths, and more!

The Memory Zone Meme is just fodder for Imbibitor Lunae.

World 9 of the Simulated Universe implements the new and slightly annoying boss, Memory Zone Meme. Players who have most of the premier units should be able to find a great squad that can burn through this world easily. Even free to play players, though, can use some of the more easily accessible characters to defeat Memory Zone Meme, albeit with a little more effort.

Best team to use in Simulated Universe World 9

Memory Zone Meme, the boss of World 9, is weak to Fire, Imaginary and Wind damage. Fortunately, many of the enemies throughout the world share the Imaginary or Fire weakness, so you will want to bring a damage carry with one of those elements. There are a couple Imaginary characters that can pack a punch (Welt, Luocha) but the best Imaginary damage carry by far is Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng.

Imbibitor Lunae works well with a booster, like Bronya, who can increase his damage output even more. How lucky is it, then, that Bronya is also a Wind character, one of the Memory Zone Meme's weaknesses. The Bronya slot can also be switched with Black Swan if you have it. Therefore, a good team to use for this run would be:

  • Inbibitor Lunae Dan Heng (Imaginary)
  • Bronya/Black Swan (Wind)
  • Fire Trailblazer (Fire)
  • Kafka (Lightning)

Best path to use in Simulated Universe World 9

Players can pretty much run any path and be fine in this Simulated Universe. One path that players should think about running is Nihility, though. This is because DoT (damage over time) abilities can get rid of Morbid Dream. Nihility also makes running Kafka a great idea since the blessings from the Nihility path apply enough DoT to make Kafka's abilities even more punishing.

If you decide not to use the Nihility path, it might be worth taking Kafka out for another damage carry. The Hunt is another good choice against Memory Zone Meme, since a powerful enough team can simply overwhelm the battle. The Hunt can also give blessings to give characters extra turns, which deals more damage before Memory Zone Meme can respond.

How to beat Memory Zone Meme in Simulated Universe World 9

If possible, you want to break Memory Zone Meme's weakness before Night falls on to two of your characters. This can easily be done with a couple good shots from Imbibitor Lunae. The other main ability you will have to worry about is Morbid Dream, which can be eliminated with DoT abilities.

Memory Zone Meme spawns two henchman on either side, so it's important to use splash abilities like Fire MC's Ultimate or Imbibitor Lunae's charged attacks to get rid of them quickly. If you can get rid of those weakness bars quickly, Memory Zone Meme won't pose much of a threat.
