Honkai Star Rail Survival Wisdom Quest Walkthrough

Survival Wisdom is a Honkai: Star Rail Adventure Mission where you're coerced into helping Sampo in a life-or-death situation. Knowing Sampo, you're likely just going to be treated like a human Findie. With that said, completing this Mission will reward you with plenty of Stellar Jades and a coveted Precious Treasure Chest.

How to unlock Survival Wisdom Mission in Honkai Star Rail

To unlock Survival Mission, you must first complete the Trailblaze Mission called Lying in Rust in Jarilo-VI. This will prompt a text message from Sampo, which you need to acknowledge to unlock the Adventure Mission.

How to find Sampo's Lost Mining Tool in Survival Wisdom Honkai Star Rail Quest

In this segment, you need to help find two of Sampo's Lost Mining Tools in the Great Mine. The first one is located to Sampo's left. You'll find a glowing spot near trash cans circled in the image above. Interact with the sparkling spot to Investigate and get the Thermal-Powered Mechanical Mining Pack.

Next, prepare a team with any of the following Elements: Lightning, Imaginary, Wind, Physical, Fire, and Ice. Then, head east of the Great Mine (exact location circled above) to find a suspicious Vagrant standing guard. Approach the Vagrant to trigger dialogue and combat. Defeat all the enemies to get a Customized Pink Safety Helmet.

Follow the quest navigator to return to Sampo and hand over the two Mining Tools.

Where to Find the treasure according to the treasure map in Survival Wisdom Honkai Star Rail Quest

In this segment, you'll be able to open up a treasure map by clicking the function button on the bottom of the screen (R for PC). This will reveal the exact location of the treasure in the Great Mine. If you're having trouble finding it, follow the steps below.

Head to the exact location circled in the image above to find a Vagrant camp. You may have to clear out some enemies so they don't ambush you. You'll find a crate of Geomarrow Ores to the left of the tents (circled above). Approach the Geomarrow Ores and interact with the sparkling spot to Investigate. You'll obtain the item called Anti-Dust Mask.

Follow the quest navigator back to Sampo's location and hand over the item in exchange for the Real Treasure Map. The Mission ends here, but keep reading to find the real Treasure!

How to obtain the real treasure in Survival Wisdom Honkai Star Rail Quest

While the Survival Wisdom Mission is over, you can still get an additional reward. I missed this the first time, but you can actually open up the Real Treasure Map via the function button (R on PC).

Head to the area circled in the image above in the Great Mine. You'll find a sparkling spot on the ground. Investigate the sparkling spot to reveal a Precious Treasure Chest. Interact with the Chest to get amazing rewards and unlock The Memories We Share Achievement called Greed Psychology.
